UMUYOVE TRAIL – Umuyove Trail, also known as the Mahogany Trail, is a relatively short trail in Nyungwe Forest National Park, covering a total distance of 5.5 km. The hike on Umuyove Trail starts at the Uwinka Reception Center and ends up at Buhoro Trailhead. It is a scenic route worth hiking during your visit to Nyungwe Forest National Park if you have a few hours to spare.

The trail is much drier and less slippery, making for a smooth and enjoyable hiking experience in Nyungwe.
