Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest National Park
Rise early and have breakfast at your hotel. Your tour driver-guide will pick you up to embark on your journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
There will be a few stopovers along the way to visit the Ethnographic Museum and Nyanza Palace. By the afternoon, you will arrive in Nyungwe Forest National Park in the south of Rwanda.
Check into your safari lodge, enjoy your lunch, and settle into your new environment while enjoying the sounds of the forest.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park is conducted early in the morning in the lush Nyungwe Forest, starting with a briefing at the park headquarters.
After the briefing, you will enter the forest for your chimpanzee trekking experience.
Once you find the playful apes, you will spend an hour observing them and taking pictures before returning to the park offices.
Your other activity for today is the canopy walk, a unique experience only available in Nyungwe, where you walk on a walkway suspended above the Nyungwe Forest trees.

Day 3: Kigali – End of Tour
